PH Adjusting Corrosion Inhibitor RENATUR 521
RENATUR 521 is a new-type composite product containing organic alkaline amine components. It has a slight ammonia odor but much lower volatility than ammonia water. It can replace traditional ammonia water for pH adjustment in feedwater systems, and also serves as an excellent corrosion inhibitor for both feedwater and condensate.

Introduction
I. Product Features
RENATUR 521 is a new-type composite product containing organic alkaline amine components. It has a slight ammonia odor but much lower volatility than ammonia water. It can replace traditional ammonia water for pH adjustment in feedwater systems, and also serves as an excellent corrosion inhibitor for both feedwater and condensate.
Based on the temperature and pressure conditions of steam and condensate systems, RENATUR 521 can improve the equilibrium distribution ratio of amines required for effective neutralization between vapor/liquid (V/L) phases and enhance the pH neutralization effect. It helps control CO₂-induced corrosion in feedwater and condenser systems, reduces the impact of iron and copper entrainment on steam systems and steam turbines, and lowers the maintenance costs of condenser systems. Meanwhile, it mitigates scaling issues caused by furnace deposits which result from metal corrosion products in returned condensate, thereby contributing to maintaining the internal cleanliness of boilers.
II. Physical and Chemical Properties
Appearance: Colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid
pH value (1% aqueous solution):＞12.0
Density (g/cm³, 25℃): 1.00~1.10
III. Product Application
This product is generally added to the system by continuous dosing, and can also be used after dilution. The recommended materials for dosing equipment and storage tanks include stainless steel, polyethylene, polypropylene or PVC.
The correct dosage varies depending on system temperature, system type, system water quality (e.g., pH, alkalinity, etc.) and system water loss. The general dosing concentration is 10–20 ppm. For optimal recommendations, please consult our technical engineers for details.
This product is corrosive and irritating to the skin and eyes. Operators should wear protective gloves and goggles during operation to avoid direct contact with the skin. In case of contact, rinse the affected area immediately with plenty of clean water.
For the safety of customers and users during product use, a "Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)" is available. We recommend you request this document from our company or authorized agents as needed, and carefully read and familiarize yourself with all safety precautions before using the product.
IV. Packaging and Storage
This product is packaged in 1000kg IBC totes or customized packaging according to customer requirements. It should be stored in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight, with a shelf life of 12 months under proper storage conditions, and transported as general goods.
