Condensate Corrosion Inhibitor RENATUR 520

RENATUR 520 is a multi-component formulated product containing organic alkali components. It has a faint ammonia odor but features much lower volatility than aqueous ammonia, making it an excellent condensate corrosion inhibitor. Based on the temperature and pressure of steam and condensate systems, RENATUR 520 can improve the vapor/liquid (V/L) equilibrium distribution ratio of amine substances required for effective neutralization. It helps control CO₂-induced corrosion in condensate systems, reduces the impact of iron and copper entrainment on steam systems and steam turbines, and lowers the maintenance costs of condenser systems. Meanwhile, it mitigates fouling issues caused by deposits in boilers due to metal corrosion products in returned condensate, thereby helping maintain the internal cleanliness of boilers.

Introduction

I. Product Description
RENATUR 520 is a multi-component formulated product containing organic alkali components. III. Product Usage
This product is generally added to the system via continuous dosing, and can also be used after dilution. The recommended materials for dosing equipment and storage tanks include stainless steel, polyethylene, polypropylene or PVC. The optimal dosing rate varies according to system temperature, system type, system water quality (e.g., pH, alkalinity), and system water loss, with a typical dosing concentration ranging from 10 to 20 ppm. IV. Packaging & Storage
