Heavy Metal Scavenger REOKO 825
REOKO 825 Heavy Metal Scavenger can chelate with various heavy metal ions (including mercury, lead, cadmium, nickel, and chromium) to form water-insoluble organic sulfur products with excellent chemical stability. It is mainly used for the removal of heavy metal ions in desulfurization wastewater from coal-fired power plants (wet desulfurization process), heavy metal removal from flue gas in waste-to-energy power plants or incineration plants, and wastewater treatment containing heavy metal ions in industries such as metallurgy, electroplating, electronics, and chemicals.

Introduction
I. Product Description
REOKO 825 Heavy Metal Scavenger can chelate with various heavy metal ions (including mercury, lead, cadmium, nickel, and chromium) to form water-insoluble organic sulfur products with excellent chemical stability. It is mainly used for the removal of heavy metal ions in desulfurization wastewater from coal-fired power plants (wet desulfurization process), heavy metal removal from flue gas in waste-to-energy power plants or incineration plants, and wastewater treatment containing heavy metal ions in industries such as metallurgy, electroplating, electronics, and chemicals.
II. Physicochemical Properties
Appearance: Reddish-brown to slightly red liquid with a faint odor
pH Value (Stock Solution): ≥10
Specific Gravity (20℃): ≥1.10
III. Product Usage
The optimal dosage of REOKO 825 Heavy Metal Scavenger should be determined through simulated dosing tests based on the heavy metal ion content in wastewater. The recommended dosing concentration is 20–50 ppm. Before adding the agent, adjust the pH of wastewater to neutral or slightly alkaline with lime slurry first. After dilution in a dedicated dosing system, it is used in combination with coagulants and flocculation aids for wastewater treatment. The sludge is dewatered by pressing before disposal, and the qualified treated water can be discharged.
The suitability of the dosage should be confirmed by testing the heavy metal content in the treated wastewater. During the treatment process, the dosage concentration of REOKO 825 Heavy Metal Scavenger needs to be adjusted according to the treatment process and production changes, which shall be determined based on actual conditions.

IV. Packaging & Storage
It is packaged in 1000kg IBC totes or customized packaging according to customer requirements, stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with a shelf life of 12 months, and transported as ordinary goods.
