The Third Batch of the Third Round of Central Ecological and Environmental Protection Inspections
Eight inspection teams from the third batch of the third round of central ecological and environmental protection inspections have all moved in. The inspection period is one month, and the teams will be going to four provinces: Jiangsu, Anhui, Sichuan, and Guizhou, as well as four central state-owned enterprises: China National Petroleum Corporation, China Petrochemical Corporation, China National Chemical Corporation, and China National Chemical Engineering Group Co., Ltd.
Ecological Environment Data Element Innovation Base
The unveiling ceremony for the Ecological Environment Data Element Innovation Base was grandly held at the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment. Next steps for the base will include continuing to promote innovation in the management system and mechanisms of ecological environment data elements, deepening the application scenarios of ecological environment digitalization, promoting the integration of the environmental protection industry and the digital economy, and providing strong support for releasing the value of data elements and promoting the comprehensive green transformation of the economy and society.
26 Environmental Listed Companies Release Third-Quarter Reports
Listed companies are intensively releasing their third-quarter reports. Environmental Online has compiled the third-quarter performance of 26 listed companies in the environmental protection industry. The proportion of companies with year-on-year decreases in revenue is approximately 57.69%, and the proportion of companies with year-on-year decreases in net profit is approximately 61.5%. Six companies saw increases in both revenue and profit, while 11 companies saw decreases in both.

Guiding Opinions on Evidence in Handling Criminal Cases of Environmental Pollution
The Supreme People's Procuratorate, the Ministry of Public Security, and the Ministry of Ecology and Environment jointly issued the "Guiding Opinions on Evidence in Handling Criminal Cases of Environmental Pollution," further clarifying the key points and direction for procuratorial review and continuously improving the efficiency of handling criminal cases of environmental pollution.
Work Plan to Improve the Carbon Emission Statistics and Accounting System
Eight ministries jointly issued the "Work Plan to Improve the Carbon Emission Statistics and Accounting System." The plan encourages regions with the capacity to compile provincial greenhouse gas inventories and encourages all regions to refer to national and provincial carbon emission statistics and accounting methods. It also emphasizes the principle of data availability, feasibility of methods, and comparability of results in developing carbon emission statistics and accounting methods for sub-provincial regions.
